To all the people and animals who have been displaced or lost their homes, may you find safety and sanctuary. I painted ‘Flame and Ember’ after the fires in Maui—a tribute to the resilience of those affected by such devastation. It seems every year, we lose a beautiful community—people, pets, neighbors, and wildlife—to wildfires. I’ve been sharing posts in my stories about how to donate and ways to help. Just know there are people out there who care deeply—sometimes in the most unexpected ways. Together, we can make a difference.

Being from LA, it’s so painful to see the devastation—but it’s also incredible to witness the strength of humanity. 💛 People are coming together to help each other, rescue animals, and rebuild what’s been lost. Even firefighters from Canada and Mexico are stepping in to lend a hand. What a beautiful reminder of the power of unity and compassion.
