We finally had time to decorate, and even though we only put out half the decorations this year, the tree is up and everything is sparkling and shimmering at night. It may not be a full holiday setup (since we’re not hosting Christmas here), but it fills the house with happiness!!! There’s just something magical about the glow of the lights that I can’t resist🌟❤️

🎨✨ Studio Updates & Fresh Beginnings ✨🎨

What a week it’s been in the studio! After months of planning, I finally tackled a much-needed revamp—complete with shiny new-to-me flat files, a deep clean, and some serious organization. Finally, everything in its place! It may have seemed organized before, but it was just a façade lol I had random things shoved in every corner and there was no rhyme or reason… Which often happens when you’re low on time . But Now I can focus on what I love most: painting, painting, painting. 🖌️

I’ve already started a fresh batch of new paintings, and am excited about what’s taking shape! Lots of whimsy and lots of surrealism!!!

But… here’s the bittersweet part: I skipped putting up a Christmas tree this year. 😩😭😩Other than a wreath on the front door and our trusty two nutcrackers, the holiday decorations are pretty minimal. Should I change that? (I can already hear your answer… okay, okay, you’ve convinced me! 🎄😂).

📂 Studio Dreams Coming True! 🎨

For years, I’ve dreamed of having flat files in my studio to store my art, paper, canvas, and all the creative supplies that keep me inspired. But let’s be real—they’re so expensive if you buy new!

Luckily, my amazing friend Holly found me the first flat file, secondhand, and then Remmie took it to the next level, finding FOUR more in an auction right here in Vegas! 🙌 For weeks, our garage was packed with these super heavy flat files, waiting for the perfect spot.

Yesterday, we rolled up our sleeves, cleared everything out, and started moving them into the studio. It’s all coming together, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Stay tuned—after today’s final clean-up, I’ll share some pics of the finished setup. Can’t wait to show you my dream studio storage in action!
