After many years, I’m dusting off some old skill

After many years, I’m dusting off some old skills and diving back into sculpting! 🎨
It’s been a while, but I’ve been wanting to explore this creative side again. I invited my amazing studio assistant, Kayla for a fun play/learning session. She creates amazing pet sculptures so I knew she’d be able to help me revisit!! 👐
We started small with butterflies, dragonflies, and of course, a little piggy 🐷 and these may or may not end up covered in gold leaf and mounted on my ceiling. 🤭– but now I’m ready to take on something bigger! Any guesses what it’s going to be?

Looking back at the paintings I’ve created this year, I feel proud but also inspired. 🎨✨
It’s easy to forget about the paintings you did 6 months ago when you’ve done 100 or more since 😜
There’s still so much I want to bring to life! I’m dreaming of more delicate pearls & intricate encrusted details, and also diving into moody, spooky vibes. 🖤
The hardest part of being creative? Having endless ideas and never enough time to paint them all! 💭 What would you love to see more of in my work? Pearls, pigs or spooky moods? 💫
