“Taking the day off from the studio to put on Fall Fest at my son’s school! 🎃🍂 By the end of the day, I’ll have clocked about 20,000 steps and won’t want to move tomorrow — which makes it the perfect time to sit at the easel and finish up a special commission I’ve been working on. 🖌️

✨ Introducing ‘Jacqui-Lantern’ ✨
I’m so excited to reveal the finish of ‘Jacqui-Lantern,’ a hauntingly beautiful portrait with a touch of eerie elegance. Many of you caught a glimpse of me painting her live @parkwestvegas - detailing each delicate pearl on her soft pink hair. Nestled within her hair is a whimsical white jack-o’-lantern, bringing a playful but mysterious vibe to the piece. 🎃🌸
When I brought her home, I decided to add a bit of magic to the night sky. I sculpted tiny bats out of clay, gilded them in shimmering gold leaf, and added them to float gracefully around her. I love how they bring the painting to life, combining sophistication with a spooky, whimsical touch. 🦇✨

✨🌙 A Celestial and Magical Day Off 🌙✨
I took the day off today, so I could finally dive into a project I’ve been meaning to get to for a while now. While it’s not 100% finished, it’s close and already feels magically special. 🌟
I painted the ceiling of our rotunda with a soft gradient and transformed the chandelier medallion into a golden sun. I added delicate gold stars that coordinate with the ones I painted on Remmie’s office ceiling just above. Both ceilings offer a beautiful circular view of the stars, creating a celestial scene from the surrounding rooms. ✨🌟
Next up…step two—adding a gilded moon, butterflies, and dragonflies to complete the celestial vision, but that will come another day. 🌙🦋

🎃✨ Meet Jacqui-lantern, the glamorous Halloween queen! ✨🎃
I started this Halloween-themed soft pastel painting a few days ago and pretty much wrapped it up during the Bubbles & Beats live event on Saturday. But when I brought it home, I just had to take it up a notch!
On a total whim, I sculpted these tiny bats (because, why not? 🦇) and then decided they needed to be gold leafed. And of course, Jacqui-lantern was already completely glammed up with her pink hair, pearls, and encrusted jewels effect. 💖✨ She’s a spooky queen with style! 👑
I love how this piece turned out—it’s a mix of whimsy, glamour, and Halloween fun.💫
