Melanie Stimmell is not your average fine artist – she is a creative powerhouse, a true force to be reckoned with in the art world. Her career has been marked by a series of extraordinary achievements and accolades, each one more impressive than the last.

In 2021, Melanie was named a top 10 finalist in Park West Gallery’s ‘Made in Vegas’ competition – what would be a dream come true for many artists. For Melanie, it was just the beginning. She has since joined the Park West family and her first showing of work on New Year’s Eve resulted in a sold-out show and record-breaking print sales. Her blossoming fine art career with Park West Galleries is a testament to her undeniable talent and boundless creativity.

Stimmell is more than just a fine artist – she is also a gifted illustrator and surface pattern designer, represented by Suzanne Cruise Creative Services, Inc. And if that wasn’t enough, she runs a successful 3D street painting company, We Talk Chalk, with her husband, where she gets to collaborate with incredibly talented artists and create breathtaking works of art. One of her favorite projects was designing and painting the ceiling of the new Caesar’s Palace Grand Entrance in 2022.

Melanie’s journey to becoming a creative powerhouse has been a long and fascinating one. She graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and spent 8 years working as a Technical Director on the iconic South Park Feature Film and TV show. During this time, she fell in love with street painting, a passion that has taken her around the world and earned her Gold medals and 1st place awards in Europe’s most prestigious competitions. She has even been named a Maestra Madonnara (Master Street Painter) in both Italy and Germany, a title that speaks to her extraordinary talent and skill.

As Creative Director of We Talk Chalk, Melanie oversees every project her team produces and has curated 3D street painting exhibitions in Thailand, Colombia, Israel, and throughout the U.S. Her boundless creativity, technical skill, and unyielding passion for art make her a true inspiration to artists and art lovers everywhere.

Melanie lives in Las Vegas with her husband, son, and a menagerie of fur babies.
