Exciting news! One of my favorite pieces from last year, ‘Flame & Ember,’ has been published, and the original is still available! 🎨🔥 I painted it right after the devastating fires in Maui. Can you believe over 2 million acres of forest burned in the US in 2023? 😢 My heart goes out to those who lost their homes and to the brave firefighters working tirelessly to keep us safe. I also think about all the animals killed or displaced in such devastation. Let’s keep raising awareness through art.

🎯✨ Taking Risks, Adding Beauty ✨🎯
I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try something a little experimental with one of my paintings… and yes, it involved putting holes in this beautiful piece! 😱 A bit terrifying, I know! But, I let my son Luc have some fun with it and use it for dart practice 🎯 (Talk about trust!).
The reason? I wanted to add something special: the gilded dragonflies I sculpted and hand-gilded with gold leaf. The result? My Eve painting now has a stunning, sculptural, 3-D element with these shimmering dragonflies. 🦋✨
Sometimes, taking risks opens up a whole new dimension—literally!
