I’ve been an artist a long time now.  It’s been years since I first learned to oil paint on a Pasadena hill top in Peter Liashkov’s class at Art Center.  Let me tell you, those first few paintings were really terrible.  They were from a live model and I really had no idea what I was doing the first few months.  Eventually, I figured it out, learned from many incredible Professors and fellow artists along the way.   Fast forward many years to a little contest with Park West Gallery in Caesar’s Palace that I almost didn’t submit to.

Thank goodness I did.  Because it lead to me being a top 10 finalist and my New Years Day Park West Auction Debut!!!

Here’s a really amazing article about my first event with the Gallery.   Looking forward to many more – so I’ve gotta get painting!  :)
